Unfortunately, I have not been blessed with perfectly clear skin. But oh how I wish I was! My Clarisonic makes my skin feel so amazingly clean and refreshed, especially after a long day of wearing makeup. When I've talked to estheticians, they say to wash your face for 1 minute and rinse for 20 seconds just to get all the make up off. After that, toners can help remove the rest. I had no idea how difficult it was to get makeup off. And to think of all that clogging your pores all night! Eek!
With the Mia, you wet the brush and apply a face wash of your choice, press the button, and it gently massages your face for 1 minute. Since I've started using it, my pores seem smaller, my face is less oilier, and my blemishes are less frequent. Last time I was pregnant, I broke out like crazy and my face was discolored and blotchy, and my oil production increased. I looked and felt terrible about myself. I'm so glad I have this nifty little tool this time around, because I feel like I have a bit of that pregnancy glow that everybody talks about. Feeling better about myself makes the process of creating and growing a human being a little bit more bearable for me.
When I purchases my Mia, I got a coupon for 25$ off a purchase of $50 or more so I thought I'd try their Deep Pore Brush Head and Deep Pore Daily Cleanser. I really like the fact that the cleanser is a foaming gel. I've used gel cleansers and foam cleansers with the brush, but nothing gets sudsy like the foaming gel.
There's different options of devices, like Mia 2 and Aria. There's also a lot more different brush heads and facial products. I'd love to know anybody else's thoughts on their Clarisonic products!
